Crash when waking

Whenever my iPad goes to sleep, the app will consistently crash upon waking. It will freeze on the 'pause' screen of whatever world I had been playing on for about two seconds before promptly crashing. When the app is re-opened, I am returned to the app home screen. On occasion I will open the world that I was playing in to find that it has not saved correctly and I will have to go back and do what I have already done.

This is a very irritating bug as it happens very often, every single time my device is turned off or goes to sleep. I don't know exactly what causes it only that it happens consistently. Please fix soon so I can go back to playing without fearing that the game won't save.
