Windows10 Mining Lag

I have been playing Minecraft for a couple years now, I love the game and the updates, but I recently started playing on Windows10. My first time playing I noticed when I mined a tree in survival, my screen would freeze up  and the screen would go white. I know that this is something many people struggle with but don't say anything about it. I get so annoyed at the fact that mining or hitting anything for a few seconds makes the game crash. It must be something about the graphics of the game because I can still hear things and still go on the pause menu when I hit esc. I will continue to try and fix this but am unsure of myself. Please fix this in the next update or give me the solution. Best f luck to Mojang and what they're doing, Christian Miranda.
