Placing Blocks sometimes disappear and you have to replace them again

When I was building my raid farm, I placed down a leaf block when I mined a fence block or any other block, the block quickly disappears, and I was forced to place it again. I wondered why this bug was affected in all of 1.12, because this block was not UPDATED! So, have you experienced the same bug when sometimes building? I hope to hear your comments soon!
