Teleported moving minecarts will fly to their destination

Teleporting a minecart whilst it is moving will cause it to fly to its destination instead of instantly teleporting.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place a long line of powered rails
2. place a minecart on the rails, push and get in
3. enter the command /tp @e[type=minecart] ~50 ~50 ~50

 

Other notes

Using the target selector in the command is important otherwise you will not stay riding in the minecart.

Teleporting over a much longer distance will work normally although it can occasionally kick you out of the minecart if you enter unloaded chunks
