Scoreboard doesn't save after i leave and reopen world

I messaged Helen about this on twitter, basically a friend of mine named me "§bOwner" and I'm not sure if that's the issue but every time i leave and reopen the world the scoreboard says player offline and will keep doing this. I even tried on a brand new world, same issue is happening. However, on older worlds the issue doesn't happen. HELP. I'm trying to work on a map.
