Unable to connect to world with LAN

I want to connect to my friends world via LAN. But whenever I do this it comes up with 'Unable to connect to world' and happens if they try to join me to. We are both in 1.12 so it has nothing to do with that. This also happens in Education Edition too. This may be the Pc but Im putting it here just in case.
