Glitched high pitch audio

Apon launch, Minecraft windows 10 only plays ear-splitting high frequency audio, which makes the game virtually unplayable. Not sure why this happens or if it doesn't happen in the 1.13.0 beta.

What I've tried:

Reinstalling speaker drivers

Reinstalling Minecraft from the MS store

Resetting windows

 

I will mention that it seemed to work for a couple hours a couple days ago but it has since stopped working.
