Pet wolf disappeared after game crash.

I was using a lead on a chicken and was bringing it to the coop I had made.  I had my pet wolf with me and as soon as I entered by base and got to the coop, the game crashed.  I logged back in and both the chicken, lead and my wolf were gone.
