Drowned Holding a Trident will follow you.

Drowned will follow you even if it's daylight.

 

Currently, Drowned holding a trident will follow the player even if it's daylight. This doesn't affect other Drowned that aren't holding a trident. 
A Drowned followed me into a cave during day, and it was holding a trident.
