Cake crashes game

Well, I felt like placing cake down in my creative world then my game crashed.
I expected the cake to place down like normal but
*What actually happened was when I placed the cake, my game crashed, sending me to the home screen.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go into a creative world.
2. Place cake.
3. Crash.
