Cats missing heads

I was just playing Minecraft, this particular one game from a purchased world seed called "The Mushroom Kingdom" when I noticed something odd about the cats: they had no heads. All they had were floating muzzles and ears, but no cute heads that were attached to said muzzles and ears. I captured one screenshot of one before it ran off.

Please give the kitties back their heads. They look kinda creepy without them.
