Exiting bed goes to menu

I was playing on a local wifi server with my friend running it on his Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I slept in a bed to set my spawn. When I exited, I was greeted with this: http://imgur.com/h1NN6HY
When I rejoined the game, my camera was jerky and I could not move, I got my friend to kill me as i thought this would fix it, but i re spawned invisible to him and i was moving about quickly on my screen
