Unable to attach lantern / bell to bottom of some blocks that are allowed in Java

The lantern & bell placement is inconsistent between the java and bedrock editions of the game
This includes but may not be limited to:

  • Flower Pot
  • Anvil
  • Chorus Flower
  • Door
  • Shulker Box
  • Azalea
  • Daylight Sensor (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Stonecutter (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Spawner (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Turtle Egg‌ (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Grindstone (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Chest, Trapped Chest, Ender Chest (fixed)
  • End Portal (fixed)
  • Enchantment Table (fixed)
  • Brewing Stand (fixed)
  • Slabs (fixed)
  • Trapdoors (fixed)
  • Campfire (fixed)
  • Lectern (fixed)

In Bedrock, the bell should not be placed on the top side of these blocks:

  • Cauldron (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Glass Panes (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Iron Bars (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Walls (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Fences (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Lightning Rod (fixed 1.20.0.20)

  • Chain (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Composter (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Hopper (MCPE-169501)

In Bedrock, lantern & bell should be placed only on the bottom side:

  • Farmland (fixed 1.20.0.20)
  • Dirt Path (fixed 1.20.0.20)
