Water flow is glitched its flowing but there's no source and it floats in my survival world

Basically  there's a water glitch in my survival world and hopefully you can fix it. So the water is flowing but dosent have a source when I put a block on the water it makes a block of it disappear  when I break a block under it it floats in the air
