Infinite load screen after 1.13.0.9 beta update Xbox One

The game updated yesterday and I wanted to see the new features. The game loads up, shows "Syncing User Data" screen, then it continually spins around the background village screen. I left it alone for 30 minutes last night and it stayed there. It wasn't happening before this update.
