Villagers Despawn

I have created a village in my Minecraft bedrock world, and cured villagers to start it, so it is not a naturally spawned village in any way. I have ample beds in the village, as well as workstations. However, no matter how many villagers I breed, some are always missing when I return. The entire area is completely closed off and well lit, so there is no chance that they wandered off or were killed by zombies. I hope this bug is fixed in the future.
