Multiplayer issue

Hi 
I have been experiencing issues with  online multiplayer on both mobile and Xbox alike. Before the update multiplayer has worked perfectly, but now whenever I try to join a friend's world it will load and then say unable to connect to world, however my friends can still join my worlds.
