Duplicate items with a sticky piston and a barrel

I was testing some things in my singleplayer world and i noticed that if i take a item of the barrel with some timing (before the piston retracts) i can duplicate it.

This works for me in Singleplayer,in my realm and even for my friend that play on a mobile.
