Sheep will not drop items// multiple villages spawning with empty chests

While exploring I found three separate villages that all spawned with empty chests in them. I am the only person playing on the world. Also while I’ve been killing sheep they won’t drop wool or meat, they will shear but won’t drop wool. They will drop XP though.
