When I go and try to change skins, it changes back to Steve.

When I go to change skins, then go into a world, then, exit out of Minecraft, and log back in, the skin is a Steve. Also, could you make it to where, when you click on the skin from a skin pack, on, it will remain on as the skin? - Thanks again
