Can't use a custom skin - limited usage

Hey, my problem is that I can't use a custom skin because I get a message saying "Limited usage" and "Only available on specific platforms". Every time I launch the game I have to re-select my skin. This started happening to me I believe since 1.12.0. I've also seen you guys mark all similiar reports as duplicate of MCPE-37926 which is marked as solved. Well, it's not. It's a different problem. Reinstalling/Reseting the game didn't work.
