Scaffolding unable to go down, and going up is manual.

To start off, this is NOT with columns, so this isn't a duplicate of those ones. I'm sorry if this is a duplicate of another post, though I've not seen my problem in the search.

Scaffolding does not allow me to go down, I've tried crouching, crouching for 5 minutes, jumping, and resetting my keyboard options.

Also, scaffolding does not let you glide up. You just basically have to press space to jump up, and repeat that.
