In brief, Elytra disappeared after I died BUT i still obtained the rest of my items.... Single player near a zombie and spider dungeon

Side not: When I went back to get my stuff, some of it was in the room where I got killed, the other majority was in the room a few blocks down. No idea how they teleported downwards..
