Chests won't open under a half slab

What I expected to happen was...
The chest and double chests would open under a half slab in the lower position.

What actually happened was...:
The chest and double chests didn't open

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Craft a chest
2. Place the chest down
3. Place the half slab in the lower position right above the chest
4. Tap the chest
