I am not able to sign in to my Microsoft account on the Nintendo Switch after trying for hours

A month ago I got on my Switch ready to play Minecraft again when I see that I'm not signed in to my Microsoft account. At first I just simply pressed the Sign in with a Microsoft Account button but that didn't work. Then I tried to type in the code at https://aka.ms/remoteconnect but it still didn't work. So here I am now reporting this bug.
