Group of villagers randomly disconnected from beds and workstations for days in-game before most started re-connecting

In an artificial village building, after placing some beds (unknown if that is related) over half of the villagers in the village (though not all) disconnected from their beds and workstations, and took many in-game days before most started to re-connect to their beds and workstations.
