Minecraft takes extremely long to load

When loaded up, Minecraft takes at least two minutes to load and just shows a white screen. When offline, it can take up to 10 minutes which is extremely infuriating. My device is not the problem, it is an iPad Air 2 and just before v1.11.0, Minecraft would load within seconds, offline or not. Please fix this.
