Bleached Leather Armor on a stand

Hello, I am a 10 year-old playing Minecraft on a Nintendo switch. Ever since we got the update to fix crashes armor stands have been acting weird. The color is completely bleached. When I color it brown: place it on an armor stand, it always goes white. Even if it isn't dyed it still goes white. It only happens with LEATHER. It's starting to get annoying. Color when you wear it, and keep in your inventory, but bleached when put on a armor stand.
