Cured Zombie Villager Already Locked in trade, can’t breed

Xbox one bedrock edition. I cured 2 zombie villagers, and they both were already locked into a profession immediately after they were cured. I tried to breed them to make more, and gave them each a stack of bread, it’s been countless Minecraft days and they haven’t even had hearts.
