Game not saving and is closing software.

Sometimes when I am playing the software closes and the message, "The software was closed because an error occurred" , pops up. It also happens when I try to save and quit my world, and it's closes the software, and I lose all of my progress since it last saved. Today it happened multiple times, and I'm not sure how to fix it.
