Console bedrock can't use scripting/not supported

Mc console bedrock versions can't use scripting add-ons at all not. This is an issue when trying to join cross play worlds. It says scripting is not currently supported on this device. This may be  an intended feature but if so it should be supported because it's not truly cross play if the players on console are limited to what add-ons are in use on Windows 10/mobile devices.
