Creative items glitching to different items

When using a bow with certain items in the inventory in creative mode turn to a glitch item. Example: have bone meal in fist slot of your inventory then have now in second slot. While releasing the arrow from bow and tapping on bone meal the bone meal turns to an ink sac from a squid.
