Triggers move head uncontrollably

With default controls, my wired xbox 360 afterglow controller connected via OTG cable, if the triggers are pressed, it sends the head spinning(up-down for right trigger and left-right for left trigger). After releasing, the head continues to spin. After that, when trying to access settings, the pages scroll up automatically. When I reloaded Minecraft and tried to remap the controls, the trigger buttons were not recognised.
