Can’t Sprint

When I double tap the forward button, I continue to walk, I can’t sprint at all. This happened to me when I was fidgeting around with my game’s settings. I thought that maybe I accidentally pressed something so I switched to default settings. But I still couldn’t sprint, leading me to believe that the settings had nothing to do with my sudden inability to sprint, it was just coincidental timing.
