Cats suffocating in walls after sleeping with them

After sleeping with a cat and waking up the next morning, two of my cats have suffocated in walls. It doesn't happen all the time but its now happened twice. I dont have any decorations (pictures, post, carpet, etc.) in my house. I also dont have any windows. And i have a double door entrance.
