Villager Dissappears After Crashing

I originally had 4 villagers: 2 librarians, 1 farmer, and 1 mason. I tried to take a screenshot for another “bug”, but I didn’t hit the home button on time, so I accidentally turned off my iPad. After I turned it back on, Minecraft was frozen, and it crashed. When I opened it back up again, one of my librarians was missing.

 

This happened before with a mason. I don’t think they are deleted from existence. Rather, I believe they’re “invisible”, because when I got a new mason, green particles floated above the stonecutter, but the new, unemployed villager that I got was still unemployed. I figured that the original mason was still there, but just invisible. Please fix this bug. It’s horrible, and I don’t want to lose any more important villagers. Also, is there any way to fix this?!
