Villagers not changing profession when cured from zombie state

When curing villagers from their zombie forms they do not change the profession that they revert into.

example: curing a zombie villager turns into a fisher profession.

adding a lectern does not make it change even after removing all profession blocks in range of the villager

Not sure if its a bug or intended.
