skin bug

My minecraft skin won't stay after I choose it. I can choose it and will be able to play with it on for that session of gaming then after I close and then re open the app my skin will be set to the default alex or steve skin. Also when loading up a world with those skins of after just opening the app it says that my skin is part of a pack that is not allowed on multiplayer.
