Minecraft windows 10 skin issue

I have uploaded skin after skin and until the recent bedrock windows 10 update (PC) everytime I log out and go to play again my skin is either changed to steve or alex. It is very annoying i've tried endless skin websites and nothing works so I believe this might be a bug? If you could get back to me on this it would be great.
