Minecraft immediately crashes when placing phantoms in a monster spawner

One day, I wanted to make a phantom XP farm in my Minecraft server. When I placed a phantom spawn egg in a monster spawner, Minecraft immediately crashes. And when I tried to reload the app, it bring me back to the home page.

How:
1. Place a monster spawner.
2. Place a phantom spawn egg into the monster spawner.
3. Minecraft crashes.
