Minecraft will not detect wireless reciever adaptor (Xbox 360)

I have a (I think third party) Xbox 360 wireless Gaming Reciever, the previous one I had worked perfectly, but had broken on me. The one I currently have does not seem to be detected by the game at all.

I can't find a picture of the model I have, but it has X-360 on it.

This has been irritating me for months now and I currently don't have enough money to buy an authentic wireless adaptor at the moment.

I'm thinking to make Minecraft try and automatically "guess" what driver or device it is.

I have been reluctant in reporting this issue, thinking an update will fix it, but I think I need to report the issue directly if anything is going to be fixed.
