Enderdragon are broken in multiplayer

For some reason when I was fighting the enderdragon with other people the enderdragon became invincible when he went towards the middle we kept on attacking him but it did nothing, so I then created a new world fought the enderdragon by myself and it was working perfectly, so this glitch only works on multiplayer.
