Particles do not display

I have noticed a glitch with better together update (In general) I am not sure if everyone experiences this bug but when using the /Particle command nothing appears, even though I have changed settings, and done many thing to try and get them to display... if I am incorrect I am sorry, I am however unaware of any way to fix this.
