stone cannot smelt to smooth stone

when placing stone and fuel (tested fuels are oak plank, oak log, coal block) in a furnace nothing whatsoever happens. game is hosted on a windows 10 pc and i'm an xbox one s client. thus we tested it on both xbox one and windows 10 pc platforms.
