Iron Golems Fail to de-agro after player death.

Built a base in a village. All is going well for about a month. Occasionally hit a villager and get articles by an Iron Golem as expected. However recently the Iron Golems won’t De-Agro even after dying 30+ times. I tired to leave the village and despawn the chunks but nothing has worked. Turned the game to peaceful and I still get killed. I am currently trapped in my house and cannot leave as two Iron Golems are guarding the door.
