Realm will not download

When clicking to download realm it goes to a completed green bar and says 0.00MB, as though it is complete. But nothing has downloaded.

This is particularly vexing as I have only 1 day left on the realm, and due to a different technical issue/glitch am currently unable to add more funds to extend the realm.
