Mobs can kill you behind doors and window panes

If you place a door or a 2 block tall window pane between you and a hostile mob, they can kill you. They don't in the PC version.

What I expected to happen was...:
For the mob to not hurt me behind the door or window

What actually happened was...:
A creeper was able to explode when I got close enough to it behind the window pane.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a door between you and a zombie or any other mob
2. Get close to the door and make the zombie get to you.
3. The zombie will hurt you.
