MCPE Touchscreen bug

So, whenever I tap on something in the inventory (in Creative) it doesn't respond unless I tap twice! Also, at like 2.5 second intervals, a message pops up on my screen (from my phone;, not the game), saying, "Pico TTS has stopped/keeps stopping". When I FINALLY manage to get an item though, it is really slow, and the double-tap thing applies to placing and destroying blocks. Help!
