Cannot remove ticking areas from entities with tick_world component

Ticking areas as created by entities containing the minecraft:tick_world component in behaviour packs cannot be deleted by any means.

Removing the entities and then using /tickingarea remove_all or /tickingarea remove x y z will not remove the ticking areas. The only current option is to make a new world entirely and copy everything over.
