lost my worlds and it says “A newer version of the game has saved this level”

I tried playing with my friends and it said i had version 1.12.04 and all my friends have 1.11 and there wasn’t another update for them so i figured it was a problem on my end so i uninstalled minecraft from my xbox and when i re downloaded and it solved my problem...but it gave me a new one. So now i have 1.11 so the same version as my friends which is what i wanted but  now i tried to go back into my worlds and it said “A newer version of the game has saved this level. It cannot be loaded.” So i lost all my worlds because i somehow got a version none of my friends have.
